Just found this article about the history of Stunts online racing, written by @ZakMcKracaken himself and inspired by @AlanRotoi, from august 2002 (!). Quite interesting to read on how things went back then.
Also didn't know that @MarkNailwood was already a stunts legend in 1997! In comparison, my parents didn't even have a PC that year.
I highly recommend other new drivers to read it to get a good feel of how those (good old) days were. And of course also the more veteran drivers for nostalgic values.
